No Deposit Required

Rental Rules
Scooter Rental in Bali
Denpasar, Canggu, Kuta, Airport, Ubud, Uluwatu
- Rental days are calculated as 1 flexible day / 24 hours, based on the agreed delivery and return time.
- Long-term rentals are available. Monthly rentals are charged per 30 days.
- Extensions depend on availability. Weekly bookings do not automatically change to the monthly rate unless agreed beforehand.
- Photos show the bike model. Colour depends on availability unless we confirm a specific colour before booking.
- Return with the same fuel level. Pertamax or Pertamax Turbo only.
- Free delivery and pick-up are available only within selected service areas and confirmed locations.
- No security deposit required.
- TLO insurance included (deductible applies).

Document & Data Storage Policy
Customer documents are collected only for rental verification, safety, insurance, fraud prevention, and legal purposes.
Required documents may include passport/ID, visa or stay permit, driver’s license/IDP, hotel or villa reservation, stay address, and WhatsApp contact details.
Documents are stored securely and are not shared with third parties except when required for insurance claims, police reports, legal matters, fraud/theft prevention, or rental association verification.
By submitting your documents, you agree that DC Rental Bali may store them for rental verification, dispute resolution, insurance, fraud prevention, and legal purposes.
Fake documents, false identity, refusal to provide required documents, or suspicious rental behavior may result in booking cancellation, rental refusal, or repossession without refund.
Normal Use / Wear and Tear
- Normal use and normal wear are okay.
- We do not charge for small marks from regular riding, such as light road chips or minor parking scuffs.
- Most exterior body parts are replaceable plastic panels, so minor cosmetic damage is usually low-cost to repair.
- Customers are responsible for crash/drop damage, broken panels, deep scratches, bent parts, missing parts, lost items, fines, or negligence.
Damage
- The customer is responsible for damage caused by a crash, drop, misuse, negligence, unauthorized rider, or improper parking.
- Broken panels, deep scratches, bent parts, missing parts, or damage requiring repair/replacement will be charged at Yamaha/dealer pricing.
- If parts are unavailable, they may need to be ordered and installed by Yamaha/dealer service.
- If the bike cannot be rented while waiting for repairs or parts, a loss-of-use fee may apply. A Rp500,000 loss-of-use fee applies if the bike is returned damaged without notifying us beforehand.
Insurance
All bikes include TLO insurance for theft or accident damage where repair costs exceed 70% of the bike’s value, subject to insurer approval.
A deductible applies for approved TLO claims:
XMAX: 5.5 million IDR
NMAX ABS / Turbo: 2 million IDR
LEXI: 2 million IDR
All keys must be provided in the event of theft. If all keys are not provided, the customer may be responsible for the full value of the bike.
Optional Damage Protection
Optional Damage Protection is available for selected bikes and rentals longer than 3 days. It is not mandatory and must be selected before the rental starts, on the booking form or as agreed on WhatsApp.
NMAX: Rp50,000 per day
XMAX: Rp75,000 per day
LEXI: Not available
If selected, Optional Damage Protection covers up to USD $100 of customer-caused scooter damage.
Damage above USD $100 remains the customer’s responsibility unless covered by TLO insurance.
TLO insurance deductible still applies for theft or major accident claims.
Optional Damage Protection is not full insurance, comprehensive insurance, or unlimited insurance. Exclusions apply.
- If anyone else drives the bike, if you drive outside of Bali, or sublease it, the rental will be voided, and we will repossess the bike without a refund.
Not Covered by TLO Insurance / Optional Damage Protection
- Third-party damage
- Personal injury
- Traffic/camera fines
- Lost key, STNK, helmet, or accessories
- Tire punctures or tire damage
- Flood/water damage
- Reckless driving, racing, alcohol/drug use
- Riding without the required license/IDP
- Unauthorized riders
- Subleasing
- Unauthorized outside-Bali use
- Theft where all keys are not returned
Lost Key or Registration Document / STNK
- Lost or stolen key: 1 million IDR, plus any additional fees for lost usage days if applicable.
- Lost original STNK: 1.5 million IDR. This fee applies to the original STNK only.
- For Bali rentals, we normally provide an STNK copy and keep the original. Customers can request a replacement if the copy is missing. Original documents are arranged for approved trips outside Bali.
Delivery & Pick-Up Policy
Free delivery and pick-up are available only within selected service areas and only at the confirmed delivery/return location.
Customers must provide an accurate hotel/villa name, full address, Google Maps pin, and WhatsApp contact number.
If the delivery or return location is incorrect, inaccessible, unsafe, or changed after booking, extra fees may apply.
Final delivery and pick-up approval depends on bike availability, driver schedule, distance, traffic, weather, and time.
Return / Pick-Up Location Policy
The return/pick-up location must be confirmed before the rental starts.
Free pick-up is available only in selected service areas and only at the confirmed return location.
If the customer changes the return location after booking, additional pick-up fees may apply depending on distance, traffic, driver availability, time, weather, and schedule.
Remote or long-distance pick-up locations, including but not limited to Ubud, Padang Bai, Amed, Sidemen, Munduk, Lovina, Singaraja, Gilimanuk, or outside our normal service area, are not included in free pick-up unless approved in writing.
If the bike is left at a different location without approval, the customer is responsible for all recovery costs, including driver fee, transport, fuel, towing if needed, and lost rental time.
If the customer is not responding or unavailable at the agreed return time/location, waiting fees, rescheduling fees, or recovery fees may apply.
The bike remains the customer’s responsibility until it is collected and inspected by DC Rental Bali.
Tires & Service
- The customer is responsible for tire damage caused by racing, reckless driving, tire swapping, or rider-caused issues.
- If the bike has a mechanical issue not caused by the customer, we will repair it or provide a replacement when available.
- Leaving the ignition or lights on is not a mechanical issue. If the battery drains because it was left on, a service call fee will apply.
- Assistance is available 24/7 via WhatsApp. Fees apply for punctures, towing, or rider-caused issues.
Lost Helmet
Lost helmet replacement fee: 300,000 IDR per helmet.
Traffic Tickets & Accidents
- The customer is responsible for all traffic tickets, parking fines, and camera fines during the rental period.
- In case of an accident, DC Rental Bali is not responsible for third-party damages. The customer must settle directly with the other party involved.
Refund Policy
- No refunds after the rental starts.
- Early returns are not refundable.
- If there is an issue with the bike, we will try to repair it or provide a replacement when available.
Safety
- Ride responsibly.
- Do not drink and drive.
- Always wear a helmet, even for short trips.
Third-Party Use / Outside Bali
- The rental is void if the bike is driven by an unauthorized rider, subleased, used for delivery/commercial work without approval, or taken outside the approved rental area.
- Bikes are for Bali use only unless approved in writing before the rental starts.
- Travel outside Bali, including Lombok, Gili Islands, or Java/Jawa, is only allowed with prior written approval from DC Rental Bali.
- Additional fees and original documents may be required for approved outside-Bali trips.
- Unauthorized outside-Bali travel will void the rental and may result in repossession without refund.
Agreement
By submitting your reservation and/or using the scooter, you agree to DC Rental Bali’s terms and conditions.
Anti-Theft Notice
DC Rental Bali cooperates with the Bali Regional Police, the Indonesian Motorbike Rental Association, and the Bali Motorbike Rental Association.
We will take firm action against theft, embezzlement, pawning, subleasing, fake identity use, or any customer linked to rental blacklists, DPO lists, or motorcycle theft syndicates.
